My personal mission is to pass the Kingdom of God on, intact, to the next generation.

“the Kingdom of God”  A Kingdom person is a Christian able to function in society, not just in a church program.  A Kingdom person is a follower of Jesus every hour of every day.  I must be a Kingdom person myself if I am to pass the Kingdom on to the next generation.

“intact”  I must pass on the Kingdom in it’s fullness.  I must pass it on in it’s historical context (where did our faith come from?)  I must pass it on with it’s end in view- to receive Jesus’ “Well done”.

“to the next generation”  I must meet them where they are, with a message they can relate to.  I must take them on from this starting point, nurturing in them a mature, well-rounded, informed and pro-active faith.  It is important at this time to insure they become word-based in their faith (readers), and do not remain image-based (relying on emotion).
