INTERNSHIPS & APPRENTICES No internships or apprenticeships are needed to apply at this Trade School, they teach you all the basic and advanced information that you need at the school. They do offer placement assistance though.

PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE At Star Academy you get more assistance than you would at any number of trade schools. Every program at the Star Academy includes career preparation sessions. We review hiring procedures, help write your resume and improve your employment interview skills. When you graduate, we will help match you with potential employers – many of who call on us throughout the year to fill available openings. Although we cannot guarantee employment, we have, over the years, built a placement record we are proud of. There is no additional charge for placement assistance, either when you graduate or at any future time you wish to use this service.

Hotel and Restaurant Management: The middle 50 percent earned between $31,8709 and $58,380 and the highest 10 percent of hotel managers earned more than $82,510. Medical Assistant: The average hourly wage for an entry-level clinic setting medical assistant is between $10.00 and $15.00 per hour Paramedic: EMTs of all levels earned an average of about $34,000 per year in 2011, and 80 percent of all EMTs reported annual earnings of between $20,000 and $53,000. Surgical Technology: The lowest 10 percent earned less than $29,710, and the top 10 percent earned more than $60,240. Dialysis Technician: The typical hourly pay for a Technician ranges from $12-$18, with an average hourly pay of $16 Cosmetology: Cosmetologists, hairdressers and hairstylists employed in this industry earned a mean annual wage of $69,780,
