Solution Fluency … Whole-Brain Thinking Creativity and problem solving in real time 6 Essential Steps - Six D’s DEFINE the problem DISCOVER history of problem DREAM or Envision the future with problem solved DESIGN solution in stages DELIVER the goods (complete/publish solution) DEBRIEF and foster ownership (evaluate problem- solving process)

Information Fluency … Ability to access digital information sources to retrieve desired information effectively assess the information The 5 A’s ASK good questions ACCESS & ACQUIRE material from appropriate digital source ANALYZE/authenticate/arrange materials APPLY knowledge of real world problem/simulation ACCESS both product and process
