 To evaluate the reasons why divorce has increased  To examine the impact of divorce on the individual, family and society

 Couples who argue and fight all the time  The legal end of a marriage  When a married couple does not want to live together anymore

 Each group will have a different reason for the increase in divorce  You have ten minutes to create a short explanation for why your factor has led to an increase in divorce  You will present this to the class

 Now you have heard each group explain their reason for the increase in divorce fill in your ‘Reasons for the increase in divorce’ sheet.

 Think about which reason you think is the biggest cause of the increase in divorce and put a 1 in the empty column  The reason you think is the next most important put a 2 and so on  In the box at the bottom explain why you think your number 1 factor is most important.
