Water Tank Water Pump Multiple Discharges 2000 Series Line Strainer Foam Tank Electronic Direct Injection Proportioner Check Valves Flow Meter

Discharge Labels Discharge handles and/or gauge plates are labeled “FOAM” if they can flow foam.

Digital display reads “Hypro” upon initial power- up System defaults to “ON” mode when engine is placed into pump –“ON” light illuminates Digital Display Operation

Open foam discharge –Displays solution volume –“ON” light blinks when foam pump runs To disarm system push red “FOAM” button –“ON” light turns off –System still functions as flow meter Digital Display Operation

Water flow in GPM Foam concentrate injection percentage Total foam concentrate injected Total gallons of water flowed Digital Display Information

Water flow display Push “SELECT” button and total volume of water discharged is displayed –Gallons, liters, imperial gallons Digital Display Operation

Push “SELECT” button to enter “%” mode –Displays default injection percentage –“PA” Single tank system (“UP” or “DOWN” button will override default setting) Digital Display Operation

Push “SELECT” button to enter “TOTAL FOAM” –Displays total concentrate injected

Digital Display Operation Enter “INJECTION PERCENTAGE” from any mode –Press either “UP” or “DOWN” button momentarily to display current percentage setting –Hold either button for two seconds to change setting accordingly

Push both buttons while in desired mode to “0” out totals or return to default % Total Water Total Foam% System Reset

Foam Manifold –Release pressure from foam manifold System Reset

Safety Features

Low Foam Display “Lo.Con” display –Selected foam concentrate tank is getting low –Add concentrate within two minutes or… “no.Con” displays –Concentrate pump shuts off –Add foam concentrate –Push “FOAM” button to restart

Exceeding Foam Injection Rate “HI.FLO” display –Occurs when water flow exceeds the foam pump capabilities of meeting chosen concentrate injection percentage

Digital Display Operation Simulated flow –While in “FLOW” mode, push both lower buttons simultaneously –Three bars on left indicate manual mode –Pushing red “FOAM” button will turn foam pump on/off –Pump injects to simulated flow default setting

System Air Purge Enter “SIMULATED FLOW” Turn injection valve from “INJECT” to “CAL/FLUSH” Push red “FOAM” button on display to start foam pump

System Air Purge (cont.) Run until concentrate flows steady out of dump line Push red “FOAM” button to stop pump Turn injection valve to “INJECT” Exit “SIMULATED FLOW”

System Air Purge (cont.)

Power-Fill Foam Tank Refill System

Power-fill System To refill foam tank –Remove Cap –Securely attach pick- up hose to refill inlet –Place pick-up hose into foam container

Power-fill System To refill foam tank –Turn the refill/flush valve counterclockwise to the stop for the refill position

Power-fill System Auto fill –Push the “Green” Auto button once. –The pump will start filling the foam tank. –The Green light will flash while the pump is in operation –When the foam tank is full, the Green light is solid and the pump will stop.

Power-fill System Manual fill –Push and hold “Red” Manual button. –The pump will start filling the foam tank. –The Red light will be solid while the pump is in operation –When the foam tank is full, the Green light will illuminate. –Release Red button

Service & Maintenance

Daily Checkout Check foam tank level Check foam “On-Off” valve is in ON Position. Check that light under “FLOW” is illuminated and flow meter states “0” when master in on. Light under ON should be illuminated. Press red button to turn unit OFF. Press again to turn unit back ON.

Weekly Checkout Inspect wiring, hoses, flow meters and connections for tightness, corrosion, leaks and/or damage. Check foam pump 30W non-detergent oil level with dipstick or sight level. Clean foam strainer. Flow foam concentrate into container checking operation of simulated flow.

Oil level dipstick location Foam pump

Close valve in foam concentrate supply line to service strainer Foam Concentrate Strainer

Locate and remove strainer Foam Concentrate Strainer

Flush out with clean water Check gasket Reinstall Do not over tighten Foam Concentrate Strainer

Clean top of the foam pump to prevent oil contamination Foam Pump Maintenance

Remove black dipstick located on top of pump Foam Pump Maintenance

Check oil level on dipstick or Check oil level in pump sight glass Foam Pump Maintenance

Hypro Oil Recommended – Special agents prevent: –Scuff & wear –Moisture –Oxidation –Foaming –Rust Use 30 wt non- detergent oil in emergency Foam Pump Maintenance

Semi-Annual Checkout Remove paddle wheel sensor from foam plumbing and clean with Lime-A-Way or similar cleaner.

Got Foam? (the cliff notes) Foam –Engage pump –Foam System automatically activates. –Open any discharge labeled “FOAM” –If foam is not desired, press “Red” button on FoamPro Flow meter, system is disarmed. Refill –Attach pick-up hose and place into container. –Activate refill pump. –Flush system –DO NOT allow refill pump to run without foam or water.
