Software that you can use free of charge for a limited time but after that you have to pay for it.  Advantages for individual  Using the software for free before buying it  Advantages for educational institutions  Can use the software before buying it for the institution  Disadvantages for individual  cannot be modified  it may be either a limited usage or temporary version.  Disadvantages for educational institutions  Cannot use it for very long  Cannot determine if it is the right software for them

 Shockwave plugins are used to display animations, can be used to play games, load videos, audio, slideshows in the web browsers. Surveys also uses shockwave plugins.
