 Does drinking coffee have an effect of fatigue when performing physical activity.

 I believe that if you repeatedly drink coffee over time it will affect how you perform physical activity. I think it will slow you down or even tired you out faster than normal.

 The reason I believe this will happen is because, I believe there will be a buildup of chemical in the body and this will force the body to slow down or not perform the way it’s suppose to.

 Coffee is beverage consisting of an infusion of ground coffee beans. Coffee affects each person differently, depending on individual such as weight and mass. It has an almost instant effect on your mind and body which will continue to influence your state for 6-8 hours afterward.

 The reason why people use coffee is because of the caffeine in it. Caffeine is something you can find in things such as coffee, tea, and soda. Caffeine is a stimulant of the central nervous and also is a potent and quick acting drug “which produces an effect similar to the stress response in our bodies”.

 In order to find the answer to our question (does drinking coffee have an effect of fatigue when performing physical activity.) we hand out surveys to people that drinks coffee. After getting this information it would let us know if we were wrong or right.

 The key things we were looking for was on a normal basics how coffee effect you, how dose coffee effect you when performing physical, and how do you feel at the end of your day after drinking coffee and going through your daily routine.

 1) Do you drink coffee?  2) How often do you drink coffee? A) Everyday C) Once a week B) Every other day D) Once a month E)Other____________  3) On a scale of one to ten how does coffee affect you. (1 being the best & 10 being the worst?)

 4) If anywhere from explain how you think coffee affect you?  5) After drinking coffee and having gym or playing sports do you feel like it is slowing you down?  6) if you think it does have a affect on how you perform how much of a affect does it have (1 being the best & 10 being the worst?)

 7) After drinking coffee and doing your daily routine do you feel tired at the end of the day?  8) If you do feel tired how tired are you (1 being not tired at all & 10 being ready to fall asleep as soon as you get in)  9) Do you feel like it is harder to get involved with physical activity after drinking coffee?

 From this project we have learned first that coffee in fact has a huge affect on the human body. It wakes you up and gives you the boost you need to get through the day.  Secondly depending on when you drank your coffee and when you got involved in physical activity it will do the opposite of what we thought. Instead of slowing you down it boost you up and allow you to take place in your activity without feeling tired.

 However even if coffee dose give you the boost you need to get through the day we have found out that in fact it dose tired you out. A majority of the people that filled out surveys felt more tired than usual after finishing their daily routine.

 It turns out that this study proved our question (does drinking coffee have an effect of fatigue when performing physical activity.) wrong. Coffee dose not slow you down when performing physical activity. The majority of the people that were surveyed said that it did the opposite of slowing them down, it keep them up alert and active for the time being.  At the same time it also dose tired you out the majority of the people surveyed said that they were much more tired at the end of the day after drinking coffee.

 The way we would in prove this study is by testing it out more. Instead of having a survey we would get a number of students and let some of them drink coffee before school, let some of them drink coffee after school, and the rest would not drink coffee at all. We would let them go on with their daily routine then questions them about it.
