However you travelled to school – You all have one thing in common…

Double Yellow Lines No parking at any time

Single yellow lines No parking between the times on the sign

Zig-zag lines No parking even if picking up or collecting children

What can we do to help keep the road outside the school clear of cars and safe? Walk or cycle to school If you have to drive – ‘Park and Walk’ instead

Who helps to stop people parking on our Zig-Zag lines and double yellow lines?

P C S O

Police Community Support Officer

We need your help! The Big Zig-Zag Banner Competition Help us keep the road outside our school safe for pedestrians Design your own banner that asks drivers not to park or ‘stop and drop’ on our Zig Zags

The Big Zig Zag Banner Competition Key messages for the banner Tell drivers that: they must not stop their car on the zig zag lines or park outside the school It is not safe to stop and drop on the zig zags it is not sensible to drive or park in the road directly outside the school It is better to ‘park (at least 500 metres away from the school) and walk’ Walking is better for our health and our environment than driving Get your design guide from …? Competition deadline…? The two winning designs will be made into a full sized banner for our school railings.
