AIRPORT SECURITY BY GRIFFIN GLOVER
INTRODUCTION If you have been to an airport recently then you know what the security is like. s
THE PROBLEM The increase in airport security is directly connected to the rise of global terrorism x300.jpg
OUR CURRENT SOLUTION
OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE A BETTER TRACK RECORD El Al – voted safest airline in the world three times in a row Israeli Quantas – only fatal plane crash ever an that was in 1965 Australian Air Canada – All of their pilots have over 14 years of flight experience. Canadian British Airways – One of the oldest airways and one of the best records. British
US TRACK RECORD American Airlines – lost two planes to terror related activates U.S Continental Airlines – One terror related plane crash. U.S
OVERKILL This is just over the line
WHERE DO YOU DRAW THE LINE?
IS THIS PROFILING? Today we can easily distinguish who is a terrorist and who is an average passenger. They don’t have to be middle eastern but can be from any area that hates the U.S
WHAT WE SHOULD DO? Profile people who are from troubled areas or have committed crimes overseas. Use metal detectors and x ray machines. All security should be run by people who work for the airlines. If security detains a questionable person then they do a full body search. Keep people moving in the regular security lines.
