What are Basic Contents of a Captivate Movie? A typical Captivate movie consists of: A Preload slide A slide explaining the elements of the movie A welcome or introductory slide Text slides providing background information and details Screen shot slides A summary slide

What are Basic Contents of a Captivate Movie? A Preload slide A preload screen displays a message/graphic instructing the user that the movie is loading into their browser. For example, “Please wait, loading movie.” Captivate has a default preload screen that appears in the output. However, you can customize this screen to select a different preload screen if you prefer. A loading screen is beneficial for the following reasons: The more complex the first slide is, the longer the it takes to load and display. If movies are viewable worldwide and some countries may not have the most up-to-date internet services available.
