Washing Machine Aliyaa Hajji 6E

Introduction A washing machine (Laundry washer, clothes washer, or washer) is a machine designed to wash clothes, towels, sheets etc. This invention has changed lives of many people through out the world.

Problem Challenge Before washing machines were invented in ancient times they would clean their clothes by pounding them on rocks or rubbing them with abrasive sands; and washing the dirt away in local streams. This was a time consuming routine so the people would not wash their clothes in a month or so!

Solution Washing machines are an easy way to wash your clothes. Washing Machines work by a pump that is inserts water at various temperatures into the tub of the washing machine, while the earliest models required the operator to hand load water into the machine. Modern washing machines have a door, the door is where you insert the clothes then you close it. To adjust the temperature use the washing machine controls. After in the 19 th they made the washing machine but it was in public use. Then they made the whirlpool washing machine which was fairly easy and it would automatically stop and then it was easy just to take it out from the washer.

Negative Response There are several negative responses to this invention. Washing machines cost several hundred dollars and range into the thousands of dollars for better models. In countries that people have to pay for how much energy and the water usage used have to pay too. If washing machines also has to be fixed when damage so repairing and maintenance costs add to that too.

What’s Next? Washing Machines are very helpful but what will they do to the environment one day? Washing machines are largest water users out of all households. washing machines also require a great deal of energy. Only one of this machine emits about 160 pounds of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide per year !
