Fountain/Doxology Words by: William Cowper and Thomas Leighton Music by: Lowell Mason and John Braham Arrangement by: Marty Mikles SASB #132 and #960
There is a fountain filled with blood, drawn from Immanuel’s veins; And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day; And there have I, as vile as he, washed all my sins away.
I do believe, I will believe, that Jesus died for me; That on the cross He shed His blood, and now He sets me free.
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its power, Till all the ransomed host of God be saved, to sin no more.
I do believe, I will believe, that Jesus died for me; That on the cross He shed His blood, and now He sets me free.
Then in a nobler, sweeter song I’ll sing Thy power to save, When this poor lisping, stammering tongue lies silent in the grave.
I do believe, I will believe, that Jesus died for me; That on the cross He shed His blood, and now He sets me free.
Praise God, I’m saved! Praise God I’m saved! All’s well, all’s well, He sets me free! (Repeat) Words by: William Cowper and Thomas Leighton Music by: Lowell Mason and John Braham Arrangement by: Marty Mikles SASB #132 and #960 Used by Permission: CCLI #
