 Organization  Promotion of independence  Promotion of creativity The Benefits of Using Technology in the Classroom

 Many applications on tablets and smartphones help students stay organized  For example, My Homework, iStudiez, My Gradebook  The use of calculators and spreadsheets organize math work  Flash drives (memory sticks) organize homework assignments into files for on-the-go use. How does technology help organize?

 Students find the answers themselves instead of asking a teacher.  For example, a student who doesn’t know how to cite a source is able to search for the answer instead of depending on the teacher to give the answer  Also, when the students find the answers themselves, they are more likely to remember the information How does technology promote independence?

 Students are able to print pictures off to form a collage to learn about certain subjects  Art teachers can use programs on the computer for the students to demonstrate their creativity  Teachers can have students create Facebook pages for significant people to show their creativity  The possibilities are endless because students are able to express their creativity with one click. How does technology promote creativity?

 Create a balance between technology and hand written activities.  Do not use technology for everything.  Art students should encourage children to hand draw pictures How to use technology efficiently in the classroom

 Technology uses organization to help students to be able to keep track of their work and meet deadlines  Using technology to promote independence helps students further their research skills for the future  Lastly, using technology to promote creativity help keep students engaged in the lesson longer. How do the benefits relate to learning?
