Since September 2013;54 WHHS students have been enrolled in TOP  Sessions meet 1-2 times a week  Curriculum guided discussions and activities(classroom time)  20+ hours of Community Service Learning

 Nationally-replicated youth development approach aimed at preventing teen pregnancy, and helping young people make consistent progress in school  Guided classroom discussions and meaningful service learning  Evidence-based, Tier-1 teen pregnancy prevention program (CT DSS, US OAH)

 year olds, - curriculum focuses on healthy behavior in the context of romantic relationships, exploration of values, goal setting and assertiveness

 CSL=academic goals+ personal growth+ civic responsibility  Engages students directly in the issues and needs of their community  Community service/volunteering vs. CSL: the “learning” component
