Bell Ringer – October 17/20 On a piece of paper, write down the following values/beliefs. Then, decide which was the primary value for each of the 6 stories we’ve read: The Necklace, The Gift of the Magi, The Lottery, The Interlopers, The Most Dangerous Game, and New Directions 1.truth/honesty - 2.taking risks - 3.the value of human life - 4.beliefs and traditions - 5.holding grudges/life's too short - 6.willingness to give up something for loved ones – THEN, ORGANIZE YOUR FOLDER. TABLE OF CONTENTS IS ON THE WALL.

TURN IN YOUR LIFE MAP – name on front On a piece of paper, answer the following questions and scenarios: 1.What is the schedule for Griz priority days? 2.What do you do for Griz if you have multiple F’s, but not an F for that day’s specific class? 3.What do you do if you don’t get a Griz pass at the beginning of the week? 4.What will happen if you skip Griz for a class you have been assigned to?

Take out your story map from last class period, as well as the beginning of your drafting (if you started) and wait for the explanation of what today will look like! - Drafting Sessions (3 sessions – 20 min, 25 min, 15 min) - Pair/Share Sessions (2 sessions – 5 minutes each. This is the ONLY time you can get up for a drink, to use the bathroom, to ask questions, as well as the only time you may talk.)
