Conclusion Students mostly read for entertainment. (such as stories,jokes/humours,comics) (related to questions) ***Pupils should be helped while choosing books. To increase pupils’ motivation books must be chosen with care. The books should be interesting and curiosity – raising so that they will have desire to read it, such as; books about famous people, popular movies, true stories, etc.

Conclusion ‘’For life long learning ‘’reading to learn ‘’ is essential ‘’ is the main mutto of the students. (related to 3-4 questions) Parents’ active participation is also very important in terms of the students’ reading habit. That’s to say if parents go library with students every week or every month the students spend almost 2 hours or more per week on reading books. (related to5 question) ***The best way to teach is to be a model.

Conclusion If the parents listen the students reading books every week or everyday the students read more. (related to 7- 8 questions) If the parents read, students read (related to 9 questions) ***Everyday a period of time can be arranged for reading and this can be called as “Happy Reading Hours”. This technique will motivate children and then it will make a habit. “Happy Reading Hours” should be done not only at home but also at school.
