In Christ, You Are a New Creation! 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Who I Am, In Christ! I am a temple in which God dwells – 1 Corinthians 3:16 (NKJV) 16 Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? I am blameless and beyond reproach - Colossians 1:22 (NASB) 22 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—

Who is Jesus to You in this Situation/Circumstance? What characteristic or quality of Christ needs to be present to provide you what you need?

What Does He Say to You About It? What verses of scripture speak to your situation?

What Would Living it Look Like? If you were to explain who you would like to be in the situation/circumstance, what would it look like?

The first boy is Byron. I met him 5 years ago on my first mission trip. He has Down's syndrome, had encephalitis, abscessed teeth, and deformed legs. We were not sure he was going to survive. Hearts In Motion (HIM - meaning our Savior) cared for him in their Foster facility. Last year he was able to go home to his young parents. A stateside church raised money and went to Guatemala and built a small house for his family. Byron was visiting his HIM family in this photo. I have been able to love him and see his growth over the years.

The girl is 8 yo Sarai whom we have sponsored in a weekly feed program along with her little brother Carlos for the past five years. I have been able to love on them and communicate with them through a teacher throughout the year. The father abandoned the family and I have become close to the mom, Ada, and her two other children.

The two children are Aleska and Josue. I also met them at HIM foster home as babies. They are now in the orphanage at the facility and becoming educated within this small family of children. Akeska was severely malnourished and has physical deformities. Josue had encephalitis and a cleft palate. They are both happy and healthy children now. I am looking forward to seeing and hugging them again

And the last photo is of children who live in the dump. We go there to bring sandwiches, rice milk, clothes, shoes, toothbrushes and other items to over 100 children while on this trip. We go to a different village every day and care for over a 1000 children and families while there.

If You Lived it Fully and Completely, what would it Do/Mean For/To You? What is important about being the person Christ created you to be in the situation? How is it valuable? How does it impact you?

How Would You Know You are Living It? Take time to picture it and meditate upon it in your mind. Think about who Christ is in you in the midst of it.

What Steps Can You Take to Begin to Get There? Practically, what steps can you begin to take to move you, in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, towards your goal of being that person in the movie?

What Are You Willing to Commit to and be Held Accountable to? Define the actual steps you are going to take and involve others to help you get there.

How Will You Celebrate Your Growth? Celebrate your growth in Christ. It’s not pride to celebrate our responding to what Jesus is doing in our lives. It is a recognition of His grace and goodness.

How Will You Give it Away to Others? As a disciple of Christ, you are called not only to be a disciple, but to make disciples. Define a way that you are going to do that.
