Client Requirements Non-SAP users need to access and reference SAP Governance, Regulatory and Compliance documents without entry through the SAP module. Due to the sensitive nature of the content, Client needed controlled and auditable access to the document repositories. Client has a SharePoint farm and because users understand how to use and navigate document libraries and lists, SharePoint was a DMS requirement. There are many documents and the ability to "Search" to locate content was also a requirement. Technology Used SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition, SQL Server 2008R2 Solution GyanSys developed SAP to SharePoint integration that allowed a SAP GRC user to complete certain transactions within SAP. The associated workflow artifacts of those transactions and select metadata were then routed to specific libraries within SharePoint where non-SAP users could easily locate, reference and consume it, meeting the needs of the client requirements above.
