Update on Organizational Issues OSGug has just completed elections for two open TC seats…Marty Burns, and John Simmins are the two new members EC has just completed elections for three open seats for OSG representation…Aaron Snyder, Gary Stubbing, Klaus Bender are the three new members Will be seeking nominations for three more EC members.
UCAIug 2011 Plan 2011 we will focus on member recruitment – Being in contact with existing members – Customer Satisfaction Survey – Revising membership structure – Tightening document access – Increasing meeting costs for non-members – Complete IPR and put in place
UCAIug 2011 Plan, cont.. Last year we started acquiring equipment required for meeting support…projectors, phones, room sound systems. For 2011 the goal is to: – Streamline meeting planning process – Minimize charges where possible – Use hotel staff to install and manage UCAIug supplied equipment – Use additional technical support where needed for A/V.
UCAIug 2011 Plan, cont… 2011 Daily Operations – Continuing support of SGIP – Identify tasks that where additional/other resources can be used – Use proceeds from Meetings to pay for additional resources as available – Streamline credit card collections accounting process Now Using PayPal for all cards Automating Data Collection & Reporting – Meeting registration process Now using RegOnLine…evaluate using Cvent
