Hallucinogens By Jonah, James, Megan, and Tiffany.

What are Hallucinogens?!?! The literal definition of hallucinogens is drugs that alter moods, thoughts, and sense perceptions, including vision, hearing, smell, and touch. These drugs are usually PCP, LSD, and mescaline.

What is PCP?!? This is a picture of what PCP looks like.

What Does PCP stand for? PCP stands for phencyclidine. PCP also can be called angel dust, and is considered one of the most dangerous drugs.

About PCP PCP is a pure white powder with a chemical taste, but when manufactured for dealing drugs it can be in pills, capsules, gummies, or a liquid. In the 1950s it was used as an anesthetic but the side effects of confusion and being delirious made it become discontinued.

Taking PCP And The Side Effects Can be sniffed or taken through the mouth, but it can also be smoked. The liquid form of PCP can be sprayed onto mint, parsley, oregano, or marijuana.

What is LSD? LSD is a synthetic drug and is one of the most potent of mood altering chemicals. LSD is the shortened name for lysergic acid diethylamide.

About LSD It is usually in sold in liquid form, but it can also be injected in blotter paper, sugar cubes, gelatin squares, and tablets. It can be taken through the mouth and is colorless and odorless, but it has a bitter taste.

What does LSD look like? This is what LSD looks like when taken in the blotter form.

Effects Of Taking LSD Very unpredictable, a person may feel like they can do anything, like flying or stopping a moving train by standing in front of it. This drug could possibly cause the user to harm themselves or others.

What is Mescaline? Is a hallucinogen that comes from the peyote cactus. Another name for mescaline is peyote candy.
