A processor is a device in the computer that takes and follows the instructions of computer programs. There are many types of processor such as dual core and Pentium core. We choose this processor because it is fast and can cater to all our customers’ needs Operating System is a program on a computer that controls files and computer programs. Some types of operating systems are Windows 7 and OS X Lion. We choose this operating system because it allows our customer to do all of the things they asked for and more. Memory is a place on the computer to store different programs, applications and documents. We choose this memory because it will let our customer save all there important documents such as s from their family members and pictures that there family sends. Hard Drive is another way of storing information. It also helps receive information. We choose this hard drive because it allows our customer optimal space to communicate with their families. Hard drives are measured by megabytes. There are megabytes from 100 to 1,000,000.

Video card: a video card is used for video or you can say graphics. There are different options you can buy by gigabits or size. There is a price difference for all video cards. This helps you see your screen monitor better without a struggle. Sound Card: A sound card is an internal computer expansion that facilitates the input and output of audio signals to and from a computer under control of computer programs. There are different options like color or a cord. These do not cost that much they are very cheap. Optical Drive helps with the graphics of a computer. It sends out colors and images. We choose this optical drive because it allows our customer to Skype their families in color. Monitor is the face of a computer. It allows you to visibly see what is going on. There are monitors that range from 12 inches to 17inches.

Speakers: Speakers are used so things can be louder this has something to do with the sound card. They come in different colors. Shapes, and sizes. I would buy this because if you are a cannot hear much it could help you. Keyboard: a computer keyboard is a typewriter style device, which uses an arrangement of buttons. They come in different sizes, colors, and shapes. You will need this for every computer you get for typing things you need. Mouse: In computing, a mouse is a pointing device that functions by detecting two-dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface. Mouse comes in different prices, color. And shapes. You also need this for your computer because you must click on things to get to them. Modem: A modem is a device that modulates an analog carrier signal to encode digital information. They are different by speed, and networks or carriers. I would by this because it gives you internet and high speed.
