Bicycle touring is cycling over long distances – focusing on pleasure and endurance. Touring can be anything from single day rides to multi-day trips. Scuba diving is the use of a self- contained breathing set to stay underwater for periods of time. Skiing is a sport in which a person attaches long runners (skis) to the feet and uses them to travel on top of snow. Cross-country skiing is a form of ski touring in which skiers push themselves across using skis and poles. Great places: Anywhere there is snow Ask your partners: Have you ever been skiing? Rock climbing is an activity in which participants climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. Plan an imaginary adventure with your partner:  How many people are going to go?  What activities are you going to do?  Where are you going to go?  How are you going to travel?  How long is the adventure going to last?  What are some experiences you hope to have? Now, stand up and talk to the other students to find out about their trips!
