What is the history of Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving was celebrated during the second winter since the Pilgrims move to North America. During this winter the Pilgrims survived because the Native Americans introduce to them new foods, how to grow them, and also how to hunt. This was known as a harvest celebration.

When Thanksgiving was first celebrated in 1621. Traditionally now it is celebrated on the last Thursday of November each year.

How do we celebrate? We celebrate Thanksgiving by have a big dinner with our family or friends. Usually we invite our extend family to come for the weekend and celebrate with us. Another way we celebrate thanksgiving is by going to the yearly Thanksgiving Day Parade sponsored by Macys

Tradition Traditionally families either have a big dinner, or go to the parade. Some do both, as you notice it is also a tradition to have a turkey at the dinner table.

What do you like the most about Thanksgiving? The thing I like most about thanksgiving is the food and all the recipes that we whip up. I also like the family feeling and us gathering around to give thanks.

My Wishes and Greeting on Thanksgiving The traditional thanksgiving greeting is of course “Happy Thanksgiving”. Wishes that I have on thanksgiving is that we may be able to spend many more thanksgiving dinners together.
