CAFS Syllabus Students learn about: Specific needs group Gay and Lesbian Needs access to services education employment financial support health housing security and safety self-esteem sense of identity Areas of Study rights of the group issues of concern for the group Students learn to: discuss rights, responsibilities and attitudes of the group to the wider community

Focus Questions Focus Questions For one group you have studied; a) Identify TWO issues of concern for the group (2 marks) b) Assess how the issues of concern identified in part a) can impact on the group’s needs. (6 marks) c) For ONE group you have studied, discuss how the rights of the group influence community attitudes. (8 marks)
