VLSC Features VLSC provides convenient online solutions for Volume Licensing customers to easily manage license agreements and products -- calculate current License Statements, download licensed products, view and request Product Keys. Access & Roadmap Secure access for registered users of Microsoft Volume License Services (MVLS) and eOpen. Eventually VLSC will be the single destination for Volume Licensing customers and the services MVLS and eOpen provide today will be integrated and improved in future releases of VLSC. 4 VOLUME LICENSING CUSTOMER FEEDBACK Customers have told us that: Microsoft ® Volume License Services (MVLS) in general, is overly complex and always requires multiple calls by them to their Microsoft representative in order to get what they want. They can't seem to access any information or find it since the web site navigation has changed. Online help hasn't helped either. They don't have the time to deal with this. They are never going to be satisfied when they are forced to use a web portal that is unclear and hard to follow. They are looking for more online features that make their job easier. A site should make it easy to be licensed and stay licensed. They don’t know what they own, and after looking at our website, it’s clear Microsoft doesn’t know either. Download speed is unacceptably slow -- it frequently times out and they have to start over again.

WHAT IS THE VOLUME LICENSING SERVICE CENTER? VLSC provides convenient online solutions for Volume Licensing customers to easily manage license agreements and products. With VLSC, Volume Licensing customers can: −Calculate current License Statements to view an easy-to-understand, comprehensive license summary across programs and agreements. −Easily find and download licensed products available under their Volume License entitlements. −View and request Product Keys for licensed product in their license entitlements. VLSC is accessed through the MVLS site or the eOpen site. 5

VOLUME LICENSING SERVICE CENTER FEATURES Microsoft License Statement: Consolidated view of agreements, license transactions, and license entitlements across Volume Licensing programs. Intuitive User Interface: Product names and descriptions are more customer friendly to help make it easier to find the right product. Enhanced Product Download : Faster licensed product download performance with download options for language, platform, and file format. Data Availability: License agreement data is comprehensive and provides real- time calculation of Volume License entitlements. Secure Access: VLSC is available through the existing Microsoft Volume License Services (MVLS) and eOpen sites to registered users only. MVLS and eOpen sites are designed to provide secure access. Access to Volume License Product Keys: Pre-assigned Volume License Keys (VLK) can be viewed for all Volume License software products. Support for Windows Vista ® Product Keys: Pre-assigned KMS* product keys can be viewed and MAK* product keys can be requested. Localized User Interface: Provides localized user interface in twenty-four (24) languages. Additional languages are planned for future releases.
