For Against Adults would be more responsible with alcohol if they were exposed to it at an earlier age. If it was at 18 you would not have to hide drinking. There would be less binge drinkers. You have all other adult rights at 18 except drinking age. 1. Drinking and Driving #1 killer in teens. 2. Programs like MADD and SADD are put into place to prevent teens from drinking. 3. Teens who drink for the first time are more likely to binge drink. 4. Since puberty in kids are showing up earlier they will be more likely to want to try drinking at a younger age.

The teenage brain is still developing. It would cause adults who have drank heavily in their teen years to react and become either depressed or get in a car and drive
For Against You have other adult rights at 18 You can smoke, chew, so why can't you drink. 18 is the responsible age that you are an adult. Drinking alcohol before 21 can cause brain damage. Neurological damage from prolonged drinking of adolescents.
