Primary question: How do we abuse animals, and in what ways is it affecting them? ❖ What ways are animals abused? ❖ What are peoples motives for doing abuse? ❖ What people do the abusing? ❖ What types of animals are abused most? What I wanted to know calorie-counters-are-confused

❖ Often, the mentally ill are the people who abuse animals ❖ Most people who abuse animals do it for entertainment, for money, or because they are angry ❖ In the late 19th and early 20th centuries many people believed that animals were not important, so they used them to make a variety of clothes. ❖ In early christianity, the christians believed that they should work above animals instead of with them ❖ There are often links to sociopaths and animal abuse People involved chubby-cheeks-2/

Some of the types of abuse are… ❖ Factory farming ❖ Zoo treatment ❖ Intentional abuse (whipping, hitting, starving, etc.) ❖ Neglect (not giving them the correct amount of food, water, or shelter) ❖ Dog fighting ❖ Animal experimentation Types of abuse ec.europa.eu

❖ Left on the street looking for scraps of food ❖ Forced into an arena to fight ❖ Pets are left chained outside with no food or water ❖ Everyday thousands of animals are killed thanks to animal abuse Affect on Animals

What I learned about my topic... ❖ There are lots of ways to report animal abuse ❖ There are a lot of different types of ways that many people abuse animals ❖ Mostly mentally ill are the people who abuse animals ❖ Most animal deaths are from animal abuse ❖ Animals are forced to stay in cages where they can’t move or turn around ❖ Illinois Animal Cruelty law ❖ and a lot more...
