Staff Travel for Former Colleagues June 2015

Your eligibility Leave with 15 or more years service Eligible immediately to the following concessions for the period equal to your number of full years service: Unlimited basic and premium standby concessions on BA Standby travel on other qualifying airlines Hotline bookings Plus Annual concession/s based on length of service 15 – 19 years 1 x ID100 bookable concession 20 years and over2 x ID100 bookable concessions

Less than 15 years service Leave under a business initiative i.e. voluntary severance Eligible immediately to the following concessions for 2 years: Unlimited basic and premium standby concessions on BA Hotline Plus Annual concession for staff with 5 – 14 years service

Your nominees Former employees may nominate:- One person of their choice plus children of the family unit under 24 years Nominees may be changed every 6 months A travel companion must travel with the former employee when travelling on BA and applicable other carriers All other nominees can travel unaccompanied

Travel on other carriers All other carriers include former employees in their rebate travel agreement Remain eligible to the oneworld special offer where you can share up to 32 sectors each year with eligible nominees Details of the rebate travel agreements, nominee eligibility, listing and embargo information can be found via staff travel Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

System updates /updating your personal record Prior to leaving update your record with your personal address and register a Main nominee (a Main nominee is the person you wish to remain eligible to your concessions after leaving) Various systems need updating before you can apply online for tickets after leaving You must have your BSAFE password reset by contacting the IT Service Centre Your personal record is updated via Concessionsonline on your ESS page where you can change your nominees and contact details

How to make an application All bookings for travel on BA and other airlines are applied for online via There can sometimes be a delay to the e-ticket being issued Certain ticketing takes place offline i.e. via an office Once the e-tickets have been issued, travel can take place immediately.

Ticket validities Annual bookable concessions valid from 01 April to 31 March Travel out in March, return travel can take place by 30 April All other tickets valid for 3 months from the date of issue

Notional date of joining The date reflects your total service A calculated date of joining Each booking will reflect a different date Only used for staff travel purposes Total length of service taken from the year in which the booking is made Example Mr Smith joined BA on 01 April 1993 and left on 30 April 2013, he had 20 years service. This service is deducted from the year in which the booking is made i.e – 20 years Notional date of joining this year = 1995 Next year it will be 1996

Ticket Priorities Every staff travel booking has an onload priority and a cabin eligibility code The priority is based on the concession type being used The onload priority determines the order of acceptance The cabin eligibility code determines the seat allocated If there is more than one passenger with the same onload code, dates of joining are used to determine acceptance Retain Club or First Class eligibility when using an annual concession
