The biggest Rainforest in the World The biggest Rainforest in the world is the Amazon. It is in South America. It has 2 and a half million different insects living there. There are many animals living there like monkeys, parrots and snakes. The Amazon River runs through this rainforest.

The smallest rainforest in the world The smallest rainforest is called Bukit Nanas Forest. It is in Malaysia. It is only 25 miles long It has got all different animals including birds and lizards. Some people call it Pineapple Hill

Why are rainforests important ? It is important because animals live there and it is their home Rainforests produce oxygen They protect against floods They help with the World’s climate

What I like about the Rainforest I like that it is very colourful I like it because it has lots of animals I like that people live there I like the waterfalls that drip down I would like to go to the rainforest and see the trees, animals and waterfalls

What I don’t like about the Rainforest I don’t like that people are cutting the trees down I don’t like that animals are getting hurt and losing their homes I don’t like that some animals are becoming endangered because of people I don’t like that they are so far away that I cant visit

How can we save the rainforest Education, like us! People need to know about the rainforest Do not chop down the trees Replace trees, if you chop down one tree, you have to plant 3 Give money to rainforest charities People should be friendly to the rainforest

Facts about the rainforest! Every one second the size of a football pitch is being destroyed in the rainforest Some people actually live in the rainforest Rainforests are disappearing because of people wanting to cut down the trees for wood
