Prefixes, Suffixes, and Root Words

Goal: Students will use knowledge of word recognition skills. Students will practice using prefixes and suffixes to determine how the meaning of the base word changes.

Base Words A base word is a word in its simplest form. A base word has nothing added to it. Examples: Do Heat Write Read Pack
