London Eye The London Eye was formally opened by the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, on 31 December 1999, although it was not opened to the public until March 2000 because of technical problems. Since its opening, the Eye has become a major landmark and tourist attraction. The Eye has a height of 135 meters, and its full rotation takes about 30 minutes.On 5 June 2008 it was announced that 30 million people had ridden the London Eye since its opening in March 2000

Big Ben Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster. The tower is now officially called the Elizabeth Tower, after being renamed in 2012 (from "Clock Tower") to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II. Is the third-tallest free- standing clock tower in the world. The tower was completed in 1858 and had its 150th anniversary on 31 May 2009.
