Sports are one of the most popular free time activities in the world. Sports are grouped in different ways. There are ball games such as football, volleyball, handball and water sports.

For example water polo, swimming, canoeing and so one. There are also other sports such as technical sports for example formula 1, rally, touring car championship, intellectual sports for example chess.

We also have team sports and individual sports. Team sports are played by several people in a team, but individual sports are done by one player. In Hungary the most popular sport is football. Football is played in the football field. So this is also an outdoor sport. The Hungarian football team has the chance to get qualified for the European championship.

Swimming is quite a successful sport in Hungary. Swimming is organized in a swimming-pool so this is an indoor sport. When you want to play football you should have a pair of football boots, a ball, a football shirt, a pair of shorts and socks. When you swim you need swimming trunks if you are a man, but if you are a woman you need a swimming suit.

The Hungarian swim sport has a lot of significant people such as László Cseh, Dániel Gyurta or Krisztina Egerszegi. I prefer team sports because I think they are more spectacular than individual sports and team sports include football which is the most popular sport in the world.
