Live Personnel Tracking All users in camera are dynamically assigned a unique ID and tracked throughout the system. Using sensors (such as RFID, biometric, smart card, etc.), a unique profile can be tailored to the subject to define accessible areas. Virtual mapping allows position of personnel to be broken down into a 3D map inside the virtual platform. This allows for a quick and thorough overview of the site as a whole. Trend building allows for AI aided analysis of traffic to spot suspicious or off-trend behaviors. Simple color coding of personnel allows the user to place staff more efficiently.

Advanced Trend Building AI code allows for both quick and prolonged mapping of traffic to create the best possible templates of behavior. Trend data is expandable to take into effect times, days of the week, holidays and special occasions. Basic layout information can be used to simulate traffic in advance to potentially highlight problem areas or staff requirements.

Flexible Data Display Data is stored server-side to allow for easy manipulation into many types of displays and reports. Heat mapping is provided by default to provide a quick “at-a-glance” overview of the site. Export option allows for data to be converted to CSV or to work with plugins for programs like Microsoft Excel.

Personnel Classification Class definition allows for building of rules for individuals. Using visual markers or sensors to define staff, visitors, security and other personnel, zones can be established to alert when the wrong class is in a restricted area. Plug-in potential for facial recognition technologies as well as thermographic cameras and sensors to flag individuals.

Zone Definitions Zone definition, used in conjunction with personnel classification allows for more autonomous operation. Zone can be set up to allow for dynamic configurations for use in changing environments. Breach of zones by unauthorized agents causes an immediate flag for monitoring staff and prompts a response as well as a post-response report which can be flagged to save relevant sensor and video data.

Response Assistance Using mobile devices, Crowd Control allows for site response staff to view relevant data before responding to the situation, this allows for much better situational awareness and a more effective response overall. Non-proprietary data formats allow for sharing of data with law enforcement or other external parties. Response staff can communicate back to the supervisor with SMS, or from a pre-written message through a mobile website for quick requests.

Full Site Awareness Crowd control allows for full access to all data feeds, cameras and sensors in a simple click-based interface. Virtual screens can be setup to simulate a control room in a single monitor solution, consolidate everything to a virtual site layout that only flags feeds when suspicious activity is detected or create a hybrid system. Browser integration allows for real-time and archived video feeds and other information from most platforms.

AI Crowd Control allows for flexible implementation of responses that are self-tailored to each site by building and mapping reference data specific to the area. The longer the system runs, the less that human interactions are needed. By allowing flexibility in data collection, data asides from video can be used in analysis and data collection. This allows for a multi-sensory approach and can create much better depth and more reliable data. The AI system is also able to seek out and flag behaviors that are suspicious or off trend and call them to the attention of monitoring staff for evaluation. If deemed to be safe or dangerous, it can choose to integrate or separate it from the control trend data sets. This will allow for the user to train the system on their own time in a way that will not require constant monitoring by the users. With human intervention, or over time on its own, Crowd Control can take time of day, holidays, seasons, lighting conditions and other environmental factors into account for building a reliable data set. As time progresses, less and less human intervention will be required. Full integration of Crowd Control will also help highlight blind spots, create a seamless site overview and allow for live crowd monitoring in an abstract 3D environment while leaving most traditional monitoring systems intact. This can be supplemented with reference marks, 3D mapping systems (big possibility for interaction with the Microsoft Kinect system) and even range finding systems to allow for the most accurate mapping possible. Using static systems in a static environment, these can be used on a one time basis to allow the most accurate personnel tracking possible by building a full range of depth to establish accurate locations for those being tracked. Expandable profile maps allow for greater across the board flexibility to include vehicle tracking and roadway management, wildlife monitoring and even possible integration into unmanned mobile surveillance systems.
