Commander, Naval Installation Command (CNIC) N9, Child Youth Programs (CYP) plans to design, install, and maintain Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems for CYP facilities world-wide. In addition to the US Navy facilities, CNIC is operating as the executive agent for the installation of video surveillance systems for US Air Force Child Youth Services Program as well.

Site Identification Annual priority site-lists, Provided by USN & USAF OPORD Letter from CNIC sent to the Regional / Local Sites SPAWAR performs logistical grouping and develops preliminary TDY Schedule for “Survey Travel Areas” Coordination and scheduling of availability for SPAWAR survey personnel Pre-Survey Actions Pre-Survey Questionnaire sent to local sites Questionnaire responses processed by SPAWAR Local site requests made for electricians and IT support during survey dates SPAWAR TDY formally scheduled On-Site Survey Pre-Survey Briefing to Regional and Local Directors, discussion of issues & concerns (known trouble spots, legacy equipment, etc…) Multiple SPAWAR Personnel performing parallel survey TDYs Onsite identification of camera locations, camera blind spots, server space, workstation locations, cable routing and distance needs and validation of technical / electrical requirements Post-Survey Actions SPAWAR Survey Report Generated Building Priority Assignments & Selection (Tiered Approach) USN/USAF Drawing Review & Approval Generate PWS for Installation Contracts 25 Days45 Days 5-30 Days per Survey Area 30 Days Survey Process Timeframe = 105 to 130 days per Survey Travel Area (multiple survey areas performed in parallel) The timeframes presented here are estimates based on the initial processes being developed during the pilot phase Final timeframes for production phase activities will be refined as necessary
