General Statement A Golden Retriever is a sturdy medium to large sized dog. Golden Retriever’s were originally bred to be hunting dogs. Golden Retriever’s are placentals.
Description A golden Retriever tail is thick with feathering along the underside. They have have medium to large eyes that are brown and they have a nose that is usually black or blackish brown. Their coat comes in a golden to a rich golden.
Habitat A golden retrievers habitat is very different to other animals as they are inside dogs so their habitat is mostly the couch, the floor at your feet or on or under bed. But at times they also like to go outside mostly in the sun.
Diet Golden Retrievers will basically eat anything but they mostly eat bacon, chicken, beef bones and dog food in a can.
Health The average life span for a Golden Retriever is eleven to eleven and a half years. Golden Retrievers are well known to have many Genetic disorders and many other diseases. They also have health problems in their legs.
Conclusion Golden Retrievers are loveable, intelligent dogs with a great charm and they are easily trained and gentle with children.
