WHAT MENU DO WE NEED?  After searching through Vista Menu Commands…

CREATE USERS  Physician – already cloned  ADT Officer – already cloned  Patient – registered & admitted Sandy Cheeks Inpatient  Pharmacist – already cloned  Nurse – had to clone

KEYS NEEDED  Most already had necessary keys  PSJI’s (IV)  Pharmacist – PSORPH  IV menu assigned to everyone

FIRST: ORDER IV  Log into OpenVistA CIS  Order tab > IV Fluids  Problem: Physician – couldn’t write orders, so…

FIRST: ORDER IV (ISSUE)  VA Fileman to edit rights

FIRST: ORDER IV (ISSUE SOLVED)  Now we can!

SECOND: VERIFY ORDER  puTTy  Log in as Pharmacist  Verify the order  Then we can administer using nurse and BCMA

SECOND: VERIFY ORDER (ISSUE)  However… pharmacist: Couldn’t verify orders   Solution? ASSIGN MORE KEYS!  System Manager > User Management > User inquiry  List of keys:

THIRD: ADMINISTER IV  Using nurse and BCMA  Kept getting errors (couldn’t fix)  BCMA doesn’t work on our server Use Stefan’s CPRS and BCMA  Redo everything in CPRS with old accounts
