Unit 10 - Lesson 46 Personal Titles and Complimentary Closings in Letters 3 PERSONAL TITLES Inside Address  Always use a courtesy title before a person’s name in the inside address of a letter.  For example, Mr., Mrs., or Dr.  Type a person’s title on the same line with the name (separated by a comma) if the title is short, or on the line below.
