The new package featured heavily-discounted mobile service accompanied by internet, satellite television and traditional phone service. They wanted a low cost item that could be mailed inexpensively to communicate the benefits of their new package, specifically to mobile device users. Solution: After collaborating with a Prime Line ® inside sales representative, the distributor recommended Prime’s PL-3928 Ergo Stylus/Ballpoint Pen for Touchscreen Mobile Devices. The company loved the sleek ergonomic design as well as the multi-function messaging the product offered. Imprinted with the company logo along with the new service package name, phone number and website, the pen was packaged with literature and sent to 50,000 new and current subscribers in a specific geographic region. Result: After the initial mailing, new subscriptions increased by 38%; and, 64% of existing subscribers upgraded to the new service package. The promotion was deemed so successful it was repeated in other areas resulting in orders exceeding 200,000 units to date. SUCCESS STORY
