March - October 2010 : analysing of the insertion, matching in the TOP “By 2050, move close to zero fatalities in road transport” and “halving road casualties by 2020” are among the objectives of the EU White Paper COM (2011) 144 entitled “Roadmap to a Single European Transport Area – Towards a competitive and resource efficient transport system” and dated on 28 March The projects are characterized by efficiency, as they often takes very little expense to achieve significant results in the prevention of accidents by way of special interventions based on accident data analysis

March - October 2010 : analysing of the insertion, matching in the TOP We have elaborated several programme proposals for reaching the overall strategic objectives of the TOP (accessibility, improving road safety, making public transport more attractive and environmentally friendly transport). In our opinion traffic safety measures should have priority in traffic developments. We believe that we have to interfere where accidents can be prevented and human lives can be saved. Beyond the strategic objectives the safety and the importance of accident prevention is mentioned a total of 36 times in the Operational Programme

November 2010 : Annual Review Meeting (ARM) Presentation, for DG Regio and JASPERS the project proposals: planned interventions at accident accumulation spots (so-called black spots), safety equipment, planned safety improvement interventions at pedestrian crossings, protection of objects (bridges), prevention of wildlife crossing and roadkill, installation of energy-absobing cushions, safety developments at level crossings on road and rail, diagnostic and monitoring equipment, etc low expenses, efficiency, developments specifically to improve traffic safety
