OBJECTIVE: SWBAT convert between units with different prefixes. Do Now: A yard is a little less than a meter long (1 yard = 0.91m). Estimate the height of your table in yards and then convert that quantity in terms of m or km. One inch is about 2.5cm long. Estimate the length of your pencil in centimeters. Given there are 100cm in 1m. How many meters are there in 80 cm?
