How to create a box plot 1.Put data in numerical order and find the five number summary. 2.Draw a number line, appropriately scaled, to represent the data. 3.Plot your five number summary data points. 4.Create a box around Q1 and Q3. 5.Draw a vertical line through Q2. 6.Draw whiskers out to your minimum and maximum.
