What is the Bible all about? 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness." 1. The Bible is the world’s best seller. It consistently outsells any other book. Yet millions have never read it. 2. It was originally written in three languages – Hebrew, Aramaic & Greek. 3. The Bible is God's guidebook to man.

66 Books in THE BIBLE 39 Old Testament God’s work with His people before the birth of Jesus. 27 New Testament Jesus’s birth, His life, awesome ministry and death of the cross. It also tells about the continuation of His ministry through His followers.)

The entire Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20,21) The Bible is true because it comes from God. (Psalm 19:8) The Book of Acts gives the history of the early Church. Jesus Christ is the central figure in Scripture. Many books in the New Testament were letters to different Churches and groups. God's record of the creation of the world is found in the Book of Genesis. The Bible is also one the oldest books in the world. Almost 4,000 years. Yet it is still the most modern book in the world today.

1.The entire Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20,21) - The Bible is true because it comes from God. (Psalm 19:8) 2. The Bible is our rule and guide for living. - God’s manual on how to live and enjoy life. - The Bible is useful

3.The Bible is a book of God’s thoughts. (Isaiah 55:7-11) - God and His Word are one. (John 1:1) - God does not change, nor does His word. (1 Peter 1:24,25) - God’s written word is perfect. (Psalm 12:6) 4.God’s Word offers solutions for all life’s problems.

GOD’S WORD HAS POWER - It causes spiritual growth. (1 Peter 1:24,25) - It makes disciples of Jesus and makes us free when we know it. (John 8:31,32) - It produces faith. (Romans 10:17) - It changes our thinking and causes a transformation in our lives. (Romans 12:1,2)

GOD’S WORD SUPPLIES EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR SPRITUAL LIFE & DEVELOPMENT AS A CHRISTIAN. - God’s Word contains promises for everything we need. (2 Peter 1:3,4) - Go speaks to us through His Word. He also works in our hearts and minds through His Word. (1 Thes 2:13)

In it we find the answers to life’s greatest questions:  Where did I come from?  Why am I here?  Where will I go? Even though the Bible is made up of 66 smaller books, it has only one central theme: God’s Loving Plan To Rescue Mankind.
