All Sewing Machines Thread These 4 Parts In The Same Order: 1.The thread goes on the spool pin. 2.The Thread goes through the tension discs. 3.Next, thread the take-up lever (through to the right of the lever). 4. Last, thread through the needle (front to back)

Spool Pin 2. Tension Discs 4.Needle 3.Take-up Lever

Look at the diagram on the plastic slide plate as y ou slide it open. Insert the bobbin turning left (counter- clockwise) in the bobbin case. Insert the thread into the front groove on the bobbin case and pull to the left- you should feel a click. There should be 5-6 inches of thread hanging out.

Put the thread take-up lever in the up position. Hold the needle thread in your left hand. Turn the hand wheel toward you until the thread take-up lever makes one complete revolution down and up. Pull the needle thread until a loop appears in the hole under the needle. Grab this bobbin thread with your right hand and pull it up. Put both threads under the presser foot and in the back.

Double check your threading sequence. Put both threads under the presser foot and to the back. Have about 5-6 inches of thread leading from the needle and bobbin. Slip your fabric under the presser foot. Always lower the needle first, then the presser foot. Always sew a sample to check for correct threading and correct thread tension. Begin and end your sewing with the take-up lever in the “up” position.
