4WD Vehicle Panel of insurers used - why? Protection from changes in direction of individual insurers Able to insure broader range of vehicles ie highly modified Stability
4WD Vehicle Modified vs Accessorised - the difference? Accessories are added to a vehicle - may increase the overall value Modifications replace existing components and do not increase value Most insurers limit accessories to 10% We allow up to 50% accessories Most insurers will not touch modifications We allow most legal modifications
4WD Vehicle Agreed value vs Market value Market value changes daily, agreed is fixed All accessories and modifications should be noted on both policy types Noting accessories on a market value policy does not increase the market value, it simply notes them in case of theft etc. Agreed value usually costs more as you are insuring for a higher figure Market value is OK with few accessories
