WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH ARE WE TO BE?

END TIMES? WE ARE TO BE A CHURCH THAT LOVES JESUS!

END TIMES? Revelation 2:1-7: I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men,

END TIMES? that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.

END TIMES? You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary.

END TIMES? Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.

END TIMES? Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.

END TIMES? If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

END TIMES? But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

END TIMES? He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

END TIMES? To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

END TIMES? He commends them: For their diligence in duty For their patience in suffering For their zeal against evil

END TIMES? He corrects them: The most important thing to Him is our LOVE for Him! This grieves Jesus!

END TIMES? There are always symptoms, signs, of this happening.

END TIMES? The church is still busy doing religious things but entirely irrelevant things. (Verse 5)

END TIMES? So how do you lose something as exciting and as wonderful as your first love for Jesus?

END TIMES? Unconfessed sins. Matt. 24:12- “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.”

END TIMES? No daily nourishment

END TIMES? He gives them the solution: Remember. Repent. Repeat.

END TIMES? Fall in love with Jesus!
