ON TARGET Presently Unorganised – NSDC supports skill development efforts, especially in the unorganised sector in India by funding skill training and development programmes. What is NSDC all about?? PPP – NSDC is first of its kind Public Private Partnership in India set up to facilitate the development and upgrading of the skills of the growing Indian workforce through skill training programs. Skill Development – A large part of the organisation’s efforts are directed at the private sector and towards developing the skills in the unorganised sector in India. ON TARGET Why Government has thought of launching NSDC The present working scenario in India specially the middle level industry is very unstable. Since there is no standardization program in India we don’t have any basic salary structure. There is no fixed waging system and industries tend to exploit these workers. This NSDC training program will provide the standardization India requires very urgently and once these trainee goes for this course he/she will be a Government certified skilled labour which will help the candidate to get into any sector(there will be a monetary reward for the candidate even if he completes the course).
