First Person First-person definition is when a story is narrated by only one character at a time, who refers to him- or herself using words and phrases involving "I and/or "we." This allows the reader or audience to see the point of view (including opinions, thoughts, and feelings) only of the narrator, and no other characters. narratedcharacterpoint of view narratedcharacterpoint of view

Third Person There are two different types of third person Let’s start with third person limited

Third Person Limited Third person limited point of view is a method of storytelling in which the narrator knows only the thoughts and feelings of a single character, while other characters are presented externally.

Third Person Limited In other words we are LIMITED to hearing the thoughts and feelings of ONE person Jane thought she was one cool baby in her stunna shades.

Third Person Omniscient Third Person Omniscient: A method of storytelling in which the narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of all, or most, of the characters in the story

Third Person Omniscient In other words, we are an all powerful being able to spy on the thoughts and feelings of MANY people John (the father) thought his son was interested in what he had to say, but Tommy could care less and was just humoring his father.

But how can I easily tell them apart? There is a very simple process you can take to easily deciding which point of view you are looking at.
