Introduction to Biomechanics Chapter 1

Definition of Biomechanics Biomechanics is the scientific study of the mechanics of biological systems. Uses mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science and biology. Describes biological materials and the responses of biological materials to applied forces and torques.
