Bircza is a village located in south-eastern Poland in a mountainous area and it has foothill region climate. A large part of our region is covered by forests. Lay of the land is conducive to agriculture. In our region there are parks, a Promotional Forest Complex ”Forests of Bircza”, nature reserves and numerous natural monuments.
In Bircza, the terrain typical of foothills dominates. There are many nature trails here.
In our area there are many small rivers, for example the Stupnica river.
In our area you can see a lot of farmland. People grow wheat, potatoes and raise animals.
The San River It is the biggest river in our region. It is 443 km long. The San is a tributary of the Vistula River - the longest river in Poland.
The Stupnica River This river flows through Bircza. It is one of the main tributaries of the San. Its length is 28 km. The river begins its flow in Leszczawa Górna.

In Bircza, a network of hiking and biking trails, showing the most valuable natural and cultural values of our region, was created. Educational nature trails: ,,Kamionka”, ,,Bobrowa dolina”, ,,Pomocna woda”.
”The Beaver Valley" with a length of 2590 m is located in the village of Lipa along a tributary of stream "Lipka" flowing from the forest wilderness "Morochów". There are marshes and reeds here, which are ideal habitat for beavers.
Nature trail with a length of 4200 m is located in the village of Stara Bircza. Its peculiarity is wonder-working spring flowing at the foot of aged beech, which is an object of worship of the Virgin Mary.
By walking along this trail (5600 m long) one can admire the mosaic of forests and fields, natural wilderness, interesting terrain and stunning landscapes of the surrounding hills and valleys. All of these allow an active rest and can make everybody want to come back here again.
