AUDIO MARTIN FILIPELLI Y PAULA CABARCOS

A Sound card is an internal computer component that processes audio files. A sound card plays voice as well as music files, and can handle various audio file formats. The typical sound card has an interface available at the back of the computer with various input and output ports.

Computer speakers, or multimedia speakers, are speakers external to a computer. They often have a low-power internal amplifier. They are the route of exit of the sounds(music, sound effects, noises) generated in the computer, specifically for the sound card.

Ear buds or earphones are headphones of a much smaller size that are placed directly outside of the ear canal, but without fully enveloping it. Headphones are a pair of small loudspeakers, held close to a user's ears and connected to a signal source such as an audio amplifier, radio, CD player or portable media player.

Headphones may be used both with fixed equipment such as CD or DVD players, home theater, personal computers
